Rabbi Noah Karp
Who I Am
My name is Rabbi Noah Karp and I want to inspire others to overcome obstacles through personal growth. My story began when I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease and I felt defeated. I found hope through fitness, an optimistic mindset, and healthy eating; Crohn's became my catalyst for change.
Fast-forward to 2016, I found myself happily married with five kids and a lovely wife. As a communal Rabbi, I had habits of grabbing food on-the-go, putting my personal well-being behind seemingly urgent tasks, and felt I was spiraling downwards again. At 50+ pounds overweight, I knew it was time for another change.
How It All Started
A good friend of mine approached me and suggested I consider training for an obstacle course run to motivate me to exercise. My life changed at that moment I responded with "yes". I have since ran over 11 Spartan races, obstacles races, a marathon, and 2 half-marathons. I even convinced my wife to join me in this journey!
I create weekly short videos on how inspiration can be drawn from our daily lives - check them out here. I also offer public speaking engagements, discussion interviews, and more.
When not working, you can find me hanging out with my six children, playing ball and enjoying the great outdoors.
#ThriveNotSurvive
I want to be a source of inspiration for others who are facing difficult challenges in their lives, whether it be emotional, physical, or spiritual.
